Big shout out to Kasey and Jen V. I won’t let anyone but Kasey touch my brows. She’s an expert in her craft and a sweet genuine person. I can’t say enough good things about Jen V. Best Brazilian wax in LA hands down. I’ve been going to Queen Bee for almost a decade now and it’s one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. The way this business is run it top notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The services are incredible. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences, which says a lot over a ten year span.

Love Queen Bee Salon and Spa! Such a cute, chic location. Staff is friendly, warm, and professional. I've gotten amazing spray tans and facials here, but mostly the brow experience for me is phenomenal. Kasey is the brow kween and always makes her clients feel not only beautiful after a service, but empowered. Queen Bee is a hidden gem of Culver City. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I walked into Queen Bee Salon. The staff was friendly. I had an appointment with Sascha. I was very clear on wanting their “InBetweenie” which removes hair from inside of the bottom cheeks and leaves hair on the labia areas and the mons. This is absolutely not what I got. It's actually the worst bikini wax I have ever received. My bikini was practically bald! I was quite disappointed in the service but even more disappointed in the way the manager and the owner (Jodi) addressed my concerns. She did not seem interested in building a relationship with a new client and was very one-sided in her responses. I felt obliged to prove the disaster of a service I received by sending a photo of my botched bikini line. Yes services were rendered but there was no concern about making it right. I was insulted with the offer of a returned tip then told I was a "bully". At some point it's not even about the money anymore. It's about the treatment of customers, regulars or new ones. All around the service here was poor. I'm probably not welcome at this point but I wouldn't go back anyway.

This morning I saw the latest review from Jackie J regarding eyebrow waxing at Queen Bee Salon by Kasey C. I felt I had no choice but to post my own review. I have been following Kasey C long before she started at QB and am left speechless by such a nasty and long winded review. Ever hear the phrase "thoust protest too much" That's exactly what I think about Jackie J. I can't speak to why she would leave such a review but I will note that out of all of the reviews of Queen Bee - her's is the only 1 star....ever.....let that sink in. Kasey is a lovely girl. She cares deeply about her clients and is an amazing brow artist. Everyone at QB is there because they fit the vibe and standards that Jody has created. There is no other place like QB in my opinion. Keep your head up Kasey, do not let one rogue review ruin your day. Those of us who know you and the staff at QB love you all and are completely committed to your success and longevity. I used to love this place and have been coming to this Salon for waxing and brows for years since 2017/2018 when I was a teenage in high school. I always had the best experiences and the vibe of the salon is so cute, I wish I could give it 5 stars but this place deserves 0 stars for the current quality of service. This was literally the first salon I ever got waxed at and one of the first places I ever did my brows at a long time ago so I have always compared new waxing salons to those first experiences and what a disappointment the quality has now become. I know 5-6 years ago was a long time but I'm so sad and honestly beyond livid, depressed, and disappointed that a once reputable salon such as Queen Bee has given my not 1 but multiple of the worst experiences I've had since moving back to the area. There are not enough words in the English language to describe how despondent and depressed I was after my second appointment at Queen Bee yesterday, Sunday November 5, 2023. Yesterday, on sunday I had an appointment with Kasey C. for a brow clean up. I called to say I was running late and I was told that was fine, when I arrived 10min past my appointment I was told to wait until the person after me (totally fair, I was super grateful to still be seen at all initially). When she took me in, she told me she only had 12 minutes for a light touch up and wouldn't be able to do "anything dramatic" and I was like perfect, I told her I wanted to keep my brows as full as possible and wanted only a little clean up on the bottom of the arch to which she responded she would do so. After a couple of minutes I though I would be done because usually when I have asked for a minimal clean up from my past brow artists none of them had touched the tails or changed the shape (because I already loved my brow shape and had a similarly bad experience over a year ago after which I had painstakingly regrown my brows) but then she kept going. As soon as she started the tails of my left brow she started going wild and I could feel her plucking literally every hair past my arch and I started crying at the thought of her destroying my beautiful brows and all of my hard work over the past year+ to which she mistakenly thought I was crying over the pain of the tweezers. I almost told her to stop after the first brow, I was already crying with visible tears coming out of my eyes and Kasey didn't ask if I was alright, she never checked in on how I liked my brows during the process, never cared that I was crying, she absolutely ignored what she thought was pain (already a red flag, if you're causing a client pain for any reason you should stop!) and continues plucking my brows bald. I let her do my right brow because at that point I wanted to try and calm down and give her the benefit of the doubt since I hadn't seen the outcome so I didn't say anything when she continued to attack and butcher my face in the most uncomfortable way imaginable while putting hands all over my face. As a skincare girly and the Manger of a popular Beverly Hills Cosmetic Injectables Practice I never touch my own face let alone with dirty, unwashed hands as Kasey did. If my brows weren't completely ruined and destroyed I could have forgiven the hands and generally uncomfortable experience but when Kasey was done and held up the mirror it took all I had not to burst out crying and screaming. As I walked to the front desk to check-out I couldn't contain the tears streaming down my face as I thought about what that woman did to my face. Despite all that, I still wanted to be reasonable and I paid in full, leaving a 20% tip because I thought maybe I was just being picky and I would take a better look in my car and maybe grow to like it. The man at the front desk could see my crying as I checked out and also didn't care to ask how the service went, completely unempathetic and uncaring. (1/2)

Omg. Queen been! This place is just that. I love all the staff there. They are all so inviting and loving. It's like a therapy session every time I go! It's very personable and I think we effectively communicate with the look I'm always going for! I LOVE KASEY she's always listening to me & also recommends her expertise based on face & eyes & what's going on with my brows lol. I can tell her whether I want them tweezed or waxed! After everytime now she just knows what I want. But I don't think if it wasn't for clicking the first time it wouldn't be like this! FIRST IMPRESSIONS MEAN EVERYTHING. & let me tell you this is something I was searching for. We've cried together & laughed together. I love the queen bee team! The overall experience is AMAZING! The vibe, the look, the team, the care, the cleanliness, the love. Thank you for everything everyone.

I love everything about Queen Bee Salon!! From the minute you walk in to this quaint building with a lovely interior, welcoming staff, and modern amenities, you know it will be a special experience...and it always is!! I have been coming here for several years now and greatly enjoy my facials with Michelle. She is a wonderful person who provides expert and attentive care to me every visit. Even their on- line services for appointments, payment, and general communications is top notch! I am so grateful that they made it through the hard times during Covid which hit this industry so hard. My family and friends know that if they want to remember me in a special way, to purchase a gift card/ credit which is fast and easy to do. Thank you Queen Bee for keeping my skin healthy and doing it with such excellent service and unique style!
